Gautam Buddha on acrylics

I was looking for some Buddha paintings and came across a one made from oil paints which I fell in love with and wanted to recreate. I have not used oil paints and chose to use acrylics instead. Acrylic paints can give you the effect of oil paints or water colors depending on how much you dilute the paint.

I am really happy with the way this has turned out because  I love the way the blue shades have come across and also I mixed red, orange and yellow for the background which brings out the Buddha. here it is…lemme know what you think… 🙂
