Embroidered Cushion Covers

Here are two cushion covers, one is a Ganapathy on pink cover and the other is a peacock.

On the Ganapathy I used the fern stitch for the outline and for the eyes satin stitch.

For the peacock, I used buttonhole stitch for the body, satin stitch for the feathers, eyes, beak and feet.

  2. Thanks gayu, yes I drew the pattern and it’s very much handmade 🙂

  3. i like both the cushion covers..isnt it wonderful to see your home decorated with your own creations 🙂 are u using the embroidery ring? your stitches seem to be a little tight…try n get the right tension so there are no wrinkles/ folds

    • yes am using the embroidery ring…but i cudnt use it for certain places on the peacock since it wouldn’t hold……yes will keep what you said in mind for future stitches. ya and it’s nice to see your home done with your own personal creations. 🙂
